Calling on All Visionaries

Where there is no vision, the people perish. Proverbs 29:18

Another translation says, where there is no vision, people cast off restraint. They behave in a way that is unrestrained. They act out in a way that has no self-control. They cast off boundaries that guide their life.

They perish.

Right now, in our world, we need visionaries.

We need people who see past what “is” and see into the “could be”.
People who see past the social feed and see the field.
People who see past the problems and see the Promise Land.
We need people who lead out of a visionary eye. Seeing the beyond the giants.
Our world isn’t the kindest it’s ever been.

Right now, everyone, EVERYWHERE is living in a state of REACTION.

·       Reacting to the news.

·       Reacting to the regulations set by the government.

·       Reacting to if they want to wear a mask.

·       Reacting to their paycheck.

·       Reacting to their job prospective.

And, reactionary leadership is the opposite of visionary leadership.

When we react to a circumstance, we don’t have enough time to FORSEE in a circumstance. When we react emotionally, we don’t have capacity to channel our emotions toward a higher goal. When we REACT to the news we can’t critically think through the news. When we react to our world, we can’t lead our world.

Today spend 20 minutes asking Jesus two questions:

  1. Jesus what is your vision for my life?

  2. Based on that vision Jesus, how should I FOCUS my life today?

Tomorrow is just ahead friends. Those who TAKE HOLD of the Promise Land are those who live their lives with VISION to see it.

God has more. Believe it. Ask for it. See it.

Then the Lord replied:

“Write down the revelation
    and make it plain on tablets
    so that a herald may run with it.
For the revelation awaits an appointed time;
    it speaks of the end
    and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it;
    it will certainly come
    and will not delay.
